How Orthodontics Works

Your appliance places a constant, gentle force in a carefully controlled direction to slowly move teeth to the proper position. When you’re finished with the active phase of treatment, you’ll need to wear a retainer to keep your smile looking great.

Getting Started with Braces
During your first appointment at our Orem or Eagle Mountain, UT orthodontic office, Dr. Nord and our treatment coordinator will do a thorough exam to determine the best treatment plan. Dr. Nord will explain different options and make sure you understand the best option for your individual situation. We will also discuss insurance and our in-house, interest-free financing options.
